Calendula & Aloe Shampoo bars are made with an infusion of organic calendula, oatstraw, and plantain and naturally colored with calendula powder. Calendula helps hydrate and improve the condition of the scalp. Plantain is rich in vitamin E and is known for stimulating the scalp and promoting hair growth. Oat straw is rich in silica and magnesium to combat dandruff and inflammation.
This soap also contains aloe vera which is said to help repair dead skin cells, reduces dandruff and conditions the hair. Scented with a beautiful, citrusy blend of lemon and listea cubeba essential oils giving it a scent reminiscent of lemonade! Solid shampoos work just like commercial shampoos to cleanse the hair. Simply rub the bar between your hands to create a lather and apply to your hair. You don't need to pile all your hair on top of your head like you would with a liquid shampoo. Just work the lather in and rinse out.
If you have hard water you will want to follow up with an apple cider vinegar rinse - which is also available in my shop. If you have soft water, you can get away with just the solid shampoo but the hair rinse will add a lot of love to your hair. Solid Shampoos are eco-friendly because they require a fraction of the water that liquid shampoos do, and they are great for traveling because there is no liquid involved!
