Holly King is inspired by ancient Celtic winter mythology. The Holly King is also a personification of winter like the Cailleach. He is forever locked into battle with his twin, the Oak King, who is the personification of summer. At the winter solstice we bid adieu to the Holly King, for his reign comes to an end, and longer days great us anew. You've likely seen imagery of the Holly King if you've ever seen Santa Claus, as many believe that Santa Claus is a modern day version of the Holly King - after all, he also wore red and drove a team of stags.
Holly King is a cocoa butter soap, naturally colored with chaga mushroom powder, walnut powder, spirulina, and spinach, and is scented with essential oils of cedarwood, cinnamon, and clove (which I think might be my new favorite winter blend).
