Threshold is a blend of maple leaves, acorns, and sandalwood for an ethereal and atmospheric crisp fall air aroma. If you're a fan of clean woodsy scents, this one's for you.
Threshold was inspired by the thinning of the veil and that lovely feeling of the first crisp day in autumn. The season of autumn is a season of change, a liminal time. Liminal comes from the Latin word lemin meaning "threshold." In a way, autumn is a literal threshold - a time to embrace change and balance. I've topped these candles with a polished carnelian, which I think perfectly symbolizes fall. Carnelian is known to connect to personal will, amplifying one's courage, passion, and personal power - all good qualities to possess during a time of change.
These 12 ounce candles are packaged in amber glass jars with metal lids. As always my candles are made with clean burning soy wax and nontoxic fragrance oils with a lead free wick. Wax melts come in compostable containers and are twice the size of regular wax melts. Wax melts come in 6 packs.
